From the City of Love to the City on Water, discovering Cities of Art and all different landscapes of Veneto region
The route starts off in Verona, from where you’ll discover Lake Garda and its nice surroundings. Then you’ll head to Montagnana, an authentic medieval village, and then Vicenza, rich of beautiful buildings designed by the famous architect Andrea Palladio. The route goes now North to Bassano del Grappa (yes, grappa!) embraced by mountains; to Treviso and eventually reaches Mestre and the Venetian Lagoon. The route mainly runs on flat land, with some up and downs close to the Berici Hills and the Prealps.
The destination of the tour is the unique Venice: you’ll ride to Mestre, and then reach Venice by train in only 10 minutes.

BOOKING, how does it work
Select the departure date and choose the services you look for. Insert your data and proceed with the downpayment (about the 20% of the package). Within about a week, we’ll send you the contract with all the confirmed services.
4 weeks before the tour, the system will send you the link for the final payment (the balance). Once this last payment is done, we’ll send you all materials:
- The link to install the navigation app, with route and info
- The final tour summary with all the booked services
- The activation of the basic insurance
- The invoice of your full payment (downpayment + balance)
CANCELLATION POLICY
As required by international legislation protecting the traveler, the traveler has the right to reconsider for a period of 5 days. After 5 days from the down payment, it will not be refunded.
After the payment of the balance, you can cancel your booking with these penalties:
- Cancellation up to 15 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation later than 14 days before departure: no refund.

From the city center of Verona, you’ll bike towards Garda Lake among vineyards and olive trees.
The view on the lake is wonderful: a charming blue mirror among high mountains. You can visit the villages of Lazise and Bardolino, and then head back to the City of Love.
Second overnight in Verona.
From Verona you’ll head East following the river Adige, cycling on bike paths and small country roads. You can stop in Cologna Veneta, city of the delicious mandorlato (nougat) and then get to Montagnana, a small medieval city surrounded by well-preserved old walls.

Today’s route runs through the flatlands to the foot of the Berici Hills along little roads in the middle of vineyards and cultivated fields, passing by ancient villages, villas and parks. Before getting to Vicenza, the charming city of Andrea Palladio, you‘ll pass by his most famous masterpiece: Villa La Rotonda.
Overnight in Vicenza.
The route winds in the countryside of Vicenza and approaches to the foot of the Prealps, an area rich of rural houses and elegant Venetian Villas. If you like, enjoy a break in the walled city of Marostica, famous for its living chess event and square, and take a picture at Villa Angarano, designed by Andrea Palladio. You’ll reach Bassano del Grappa crossing the well-known wooden bridge, with the mountains in the background.
Overnight in Bassano del Grappa.
The route crosses a green area between Monte Grappa and the hills of Asolo, follows bike paths along streams of spring water, and arrives in Castelfranco Veneto, a walled city famous for being Giorgione’s hometown. The road to Treviso runs on a shady bike path built over a old railway.
Overnight in Treviso.
From Treviso you’ll follow the winding Sile river on a beautiful bike path, deep in the green of the countryside, just interrupted by some noble Venetian Villas that reflect on the clear water of the river. The bike itinerary ends in Mestre. Venice is only 10 minutes away by train! If you have never been in Venice, consider spending an extra day to visit it. The bike itinerary ends in Mestre. Here we’ll bring you the luggage, collect the bikes and wave you goodbye. Venezia is only 20 minutes away by bus or 10 minutes by train!
