Savour the Veronese wines, meet the producers and discover the terroirs, by bike
An intense trip that allows to appreciate the wines with all your senses, directly by the producer by smelling and tasting the wine and feeling the terroir directly on your skin cycling among the vineyards. Three easy itineraries, away from the car traffic as much as possible to discover two great wines: Valpolicella (with its older version of Amarone della Valpolicella) and Bardolino, in the beautiful landscapes of Valpolicella and Lake Garda. The last itinerary will take you to the romantic Verona, to enjoy a stroll in the city center and a nice cooking class.

BOOKING, HOW DOES IT WORK
- Select the package in the tour page and choose the extra services you look for. Insert your data and pay the downpayment (about the 20% of the sum of the basic tour price). Book no later than 60 days from departure.
- Within about two weeks, we’ll send you the contract with all the confirmed services.
- Minimum number of participants needs to be reached 45 days from departure. In case it will not be reached, the paid amount will be fully refunded.
-  45 days before the tour, the system will send you the link for the final payment (the balance). Once this last payment is done, we’ll send you all materials:
- The final tour summary with all the booked services
- The activation of the basic insurance
- The invoice of your full payment (downpayment + balance)
CANCELLATION POLICY
As required by international legislation protecting the traveler, the traveler has the right to reconsider for a period of 5 days from the down payment. After 5 days from the down payment, it will not be refunded.
After the payment of the balance, you can cancel your booking with these penalties:
- Cancellation up to 30 days before departure: 50% refund.
- Cancellation later than 29 days before departure: no refund.
Van transfer from Verona airport or train station to Valpolicella. (Transfer from other locations/airports are possibile with extra price.)
Meeting with the guide at the Hotel, dinner at the Hotel.
Overnight at Villa Giona**** in Valpolicella.
Together with the tour leader you’ll leave Valpolicella behind cycling along a safe bike path that leads you to the countryside, cultivated with large fields of peach and kiwi trees. The bike path gains altitude and reaches the hills from where you can enjoy beautiful views over Valpolicella and the mountains. You reach Lake Garda and the villages of Bardolino and Lazise. Once you’ll leave the lake shore, it’s time for a great tasting of the local wines.

In this tour you explore the classic area of production of Valpolicella wine, discovering less known areas of the valley, and beautiful view points. You’ll follow country roads through the vineyards, passing close to ancient rural house and elegant Venetian Villas. We’ll stop at a small wine producer to meet the passionate farmer and taste great wines, Amarone included.

The last ride is short: we’ll cycle from the Valpolicella area to Verona, charming historical town. Don’t dress to sporty today: you’ll leave the bikes at our shop in Verona city center and enjoy a walk around. At first we’ll enjoy a short ride with the funicolar which will take us to Castel San Pietro, a great view point to embrace the whole city center. Now it’s time for some free time. We’ll meet again in the afternoon to enjoy a cooking class and the dinner together.After that, transfer to Valpolicella.

Breakfast, check out and transfer to Verona airport or train station. (If you depart from a different location, let us know. A longer transfer might require an extra cost).
